There has been debate for many years about the way that you deal with people who take large amounts of baggage on public transport. The debate is especially keen when the baggage is alive. I am talking about pets. They can quite often take up the space of an entirely human traveller and yet they don't pay a bean. Often it is claimed that the animals are, in addition, move scary then the people but then people claiming this have clearly never been on a 6:20 train!

Well I thought I'd seen everything on this subject until I saw somebody walking into the District line with a hamster cage. The hamster was actually gripping the bars of his cage and looking around! Incredible!
