Ah, Coupling, the English version of Friends. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
(I'd never seen that clip before, must've been from a series I didn't watch)
I really did enjoy that show. The US version was billed as the follow up to friends. I think it suffered from the comparison. Also I'm pretty convinced that nobody else could play Jeff the way that he as played in the UK version.
Strangely, I think they replaced Jeff (or he left) for the last UK series - wasn't the same, as you say.
