So hello there, long time no write etc.

First lets have the excuses: Well I've been really, really busy. No, no I really have. I've been working at least 12 hours a day for the past 6 months and I've been writing a novel and a screen play (almost finished - no honestly - the screenplay that is not the novel). And so I've let the gamboling slip a little bit. Mainly this is because of the work but it would be madness to suggest that I haven't had time for the odd article since then. Of course I have. However I was so determined to write an article every day and so I needed to find time for some catch-up. And then as this thing continued I realised that I needed really an awful lot of time for catch-up. And then... Well there never was the time really.

So instead I've decided to go for a different approach. I'm going to publish articles approximately whenever I feel like it.* And that way this site will be updated much more regularly and also I won't feel so guilty.

And who do we have to thank for this change of approach? Well my father kept prompting me to do it this way but I never quite got around to it. And then last week a reader sent me an e-mail asking why I hadn't published anything in ages and that prompted me to change my habits. So I must thank Robert Gow for his comment.

So yes I hope this message doesn't sit here for anywhere near as long as the message about blu-tack did!

** I'm using it in the sense that I will write an article when I feel like it, but that sometimes I'll write one when I don't feel like it and some times I'll feel like it but other things will get in the way. Perhaps that's how it was originally intended.
